To create a game, click the "Create Game" text on the title screen. If there are too many games that are active, you will be notified on the text box. You can wait until someone finishes their game, or you can join or observe another game. Otherwise, a menu should pop up which looks something like this.

In this menu, you can toggle the game settings of the game, and ultimatly choose what you want to do. The game settings are at the top half of the window, and the map and mode settings are at the bottom half. You choose your map on the right box. After you have picked a map, you may choose a game mode to go with it. Some maps can only hold so many people. For example, the map "Trio" can only hold three players, and "Forest of Death" will only hold up to 6 players. You may also set a password to your game if you only want specific people to join your game. If you enable the Observer Password option, observers will have to supply a password to observe the game. You can also downright restrict observers from entering the game by unchecking the "Allow Observers" option.
