There are a couple of simple commands that you are able to use in Ultimatum. Here is a list of the commands and how they work.

say

This is the standard chatting verb which players can use to communicate. Players in the same location as you will be able to hear what you say. If you are playing a game, your name will be colour-coded to what colour the host of the game has picked for you. If you are in the lobby, then only the people in the lobby will be able to hear what you chat.

worldsay

This chatting verb lets you talk to everyone in the whole game. Your name will be enclosed in angle brackets and colour-coded light-grey. You can use worldsay when you want to talk to someone who isn't in a place you are at. So if you are playing a game, you can communicate with a person who is currently in the lobby.

teamsay

The teamsay verb is only accessible when you are in a game, and there is more than one person in your team. This verb is meant to be used for planning tactics with your teammate(s) when you are playing. Observers may also use teamsay when they only want to talk to other observers. This verb will not show up if you are in the game lobby, or you are the only player in your team.

tell

If you want to privatly talk to somebody, then you can use the tell verb. You can use the tell verb on anyone who is logged in the game, regardless of whether or not they are in the same place as you.

ignore

The ignore verb blocks all communication from a specific person. You will not be able to see anything that an ignored player says, and the player will not be able to use the tell verb on you. Use this verb when you don't want to hear someone talk.

unignore

This verb undos the effects of the ignore verb. Use it to remove someone from your ignored list.

toggle worldsay

This verb will toggle the worldsay channel. If it is on, you will hear what people say in the worldsay channel. Otherwise, you will not be able to hear the worldsay channel. You can use this verb when you only want to focus on the game. By default, your worldsay channel is on.
