Basic Strategy

Every unit has its own set of attributes. You can see the quick description of a unit by clicking the unit, and looking at the side panel.

Health Points

All units have health points. If their health reaches less than 1, your unit will die, and will disappear. Your health can be restored by moving your unit onto a village, and waiting for your next turn. There are also healing skills that can restore health. Your health cannot exceed your maximum health. Your health will also completly restore when your unit upgrades.

Mana Points

Some units have mana points. Mana is used to cast spells, and some skills require mana to cast. There is no penalty for having low mana. A unit's mana naturally restores at the start of your turn.

Supply Points

Supplies are required to use skills such as Bows and Throwing Knives. Units that have these skills have a set amount of supplies. The only way to restore supplies is to move your unit to a village for a turn. Their supply points will fill to the maximum amount.

Experience Points

Experience points is a counter used to show how much battle experience a unit has. You will gain experience when you successfully use a skill on another unit, get hit by another unit's attack, or kill another unit. For each successful hit, you gain 1 experience point. See the Advancement section of this guide for more in-depth information.

Health Bars

Health and Mana are displayed on the unit as well as bars. The Health bar is on the right, while the Mana bar is on the left. If the unit has no mana, their mana bar will be greyed out. Leaders also have a crown over their bars.

Unit Menu

To view the unit menu, double click any unit. The unit does not have to be yours to view the unit menu.

The unit menu shows the detailed statistics of the unit, including their current status, elemental resistance, and detailed skills. If you own the unit, you are also able to Dismiss the unit (if they are on a village) or make them drop an item they are holding. The unit menu is also used to use skills on yourself, such as healing spells. Just click the "Use Skill" button beside the skill you want to use on yourself (if available) when it is your turn.
